So … WHO is ... ME?

…. a bilingual, caring, reliable and funny bookworm who has seen the world….

This statement describes me well and would be confirmed by many friends, students and co-workers.

Since the last 80-ies, after high academic studies at the universities in Vienna and Uppsala, I have been teaching different languages and been working as an interpreter and translator.

In 1994, I started as a language teacher for Swedish within the IB – the International Baccalaureate.

For almost 30 years, I commuted between Stockholm and Vienna, the city I was brought up in.

In 2017, a job offer in Stockholm made it possible for me to finally move to Sweden - permanently. Now, I live with my husband in Nyköping.

My hobbies are reading, baking cakes, to crochet and to travel. I love to watch English/American crime series and stay fit with a intense spinning pass at least five times a week.
